alright so this have become some kinda fight or something on this little page....prep?goth?emo? there useless names for the way people look, act, or dress.i love hottopic, and i will admit people standing in the way in the small spaces between shelves is annoying but that dosent mean they are preps, and that dosent mean they dont belong. yeah hot topic sells bondage pants, and corsets, and things that "gothic and emo" kids like, but how i see it is its a music store, 9/10th of the wall is covered in band t's and everyone has a right to enter a store, any store, for any reason. and everyone has the right to buy what ever they wish from said store. i think everyone should stop complaining and act there age, unlike 4 yearolds that have yet to learn how to share. im sorry but this reminds of segrigation because i know if some of you had the choice you would have signs saying"no preps allowed" or "no goths allowed" just like before when signs were put up saying"no blacks, whites only" this is a stupid game that dose not need to be played, so grow up

But most ppl give u a label for what u wear and ppl give u a "gothic" or "emo" label if you shop in hot topic but thats retarted to give a label in the first place and to give one because of where u shop. preps suck. i go to hot topic to bye a nice pair of TRIPP pants, and what do i find. preps. and if that isn't bad enough they always start taunting me, right there in hot topic. and eventually someone asks them to leave, but it's humiliating. this happens like every time i go there (once a week) and i sick of it! i don't go into abercrombie, so why do they have to come to hot topic?

i have no idea why the preps and goths on this page are pissed at each other. the group i hang out with consists of 50% prep and 50% goth. we get along fine! you just don't go around judging people by what they wear, wheather its hot topic or hollister. its how they treat others that counts. we figured this out years ago. and here u guys are yelling at everybody else for not being like you. wow, grow up. and im speaking of both sides.

we dont have hot topics here in britain...at all, in some ways im gutted cos i have to order all my stuff online, but after reading what you 'preps' and 'goths' go thru, im kinda glad we dont have it, we dont have preps here in britain either, we have chavs, 10x worse, but pretty much the same thing, except a chav wont just insult you, they'll at least try and fight you, even if yyou didnt say a word, so you guys should concider yourselves lucky alternative fans get it much worse here,seriously.

I remember back when hot topic was a strictly goth store. so much that people were afraid to enter. now, its nothing but emo, and color. wall to wall its just cupcakes and emo shirts. this is what happens, when you let emos and preps go where they shouldnt be. it ruins everything.
